Return and Exchange Policy 


The following outlines the policy merchandise purchased from Elite Wheel Distributors and is applicable for return scenarios up to 30 days from delivery. After this period, items are only covered under our standard limited warranty or are subjected to a 20% restocking fee plus the cost of shipping. Please note all returned items will be subjected to a rigorous inspection.

Returns
Returns will be accepted within 30 days from delivery. EWD may charge up to a $99 restocking fee to cover expenses such as shipping costs and credit card transaction fees.

30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee
EWD will accept returned merchandise within the first 30 days after delivery according to the following conditions:

  • Elite Returns Department must be contacted prior to any return.
  • All original packaging(with protective materials) must be included with the returned merchandise.
  • The returned merchandise must be in its original packaging, which should be intact and undamaged. Lack of original packaging will invalidate the return. 
  • Returned Merchandise should not show signs of damage or alteration. Non-compliance will nullify the return. 
  • Returned wheels or tires must have not been previously mounted.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping and insurance fees. Uninsured items damaged in shipping will void the return.
  • Functional, undamaged wheels and tires free of defects may be subjected to a restocking charge of $99.00. If, upon evaluation, the item is found to have signs of wear, cosmetic blemishes, missing parts or damaged in any manner the cost to recondition the item will be deducted from the refund due.
  • Functional, undamaged returned accessories not showing signs of wear may be subject to a$15.00 restocking fee. If upon evaluation the item is found to have signs of wear, cosmetic blemishes, or damages, the value needed to recondition the product will be deducted from the refund due.
  • Refunds will comprise the item's invoice amount minus the restocking fee, if relevant. Initial charges for shipping and handling will not be included in the refund.

Damaged in Shipping
In the case a product is damaged during shipping, please secure proof (photos) and reach out to the Elite Returns Department. returnsdepartment@ewwfl.com

Damaged by Customer
Unfortunately, EWD cannot accept returns or exchange any product that has been damaged by the customer and the return will become void. This includes damage from customer misuse, missing parts or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering.

Product Purchased from Another Vendor
Only products purchased from EWD are eligible for returns. Products purchased from other retailers must be returned to that retailer.

Exchanges
In the event the wrong item was shipped, EWD will exchange the product for the item identified on the order, adhering to these conditions:

  • Elite Returns Department must be informed prior to any return.
  • All original packaging, to include box and all protective materials, must be included with the returned merchandise.
  • The Returned Merchandise must be received in its original packaging and the packaging must be intact and undamaged. Absence of the original package will void the exchange.
  • Returned Merchandise cannot be damaged or altered in any fashion. Failure on this will void the exchange or return.
  • EWD will be responsible for return shipping and insurance fees.

Warranties 
Wheels are under warranty against defect of materials or workmanship for one year from the invoiced date. Peeling, flaking, or blistering of chrome plating is not considered defects in materials or workmanship.

This Warranty does not cover corrosion or discoloration by exposure to cleaning products used against the wheel not in accordance with suggested treatments. Automatic car washed are not recommended.

These warranties are void if wheel is damaged due to improper mounting, installation, curb damage, neglect or normal wear and tear.

All blowout items are sold "as is" without warranty.


Warranty Transferability
All warranties are non-transferable and do not cover return freight charges, damage caused by improper handling, use, mounting or installation. These warranties do not assume coverage of expenses for diagnosis, removal, balancing, or cost installation labor.

Tire Warranty Claim Form

CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Tire warranties are limited to the original purchaser and the original vehicle on which they are installed, and such warranties and guarantees are not assignable to subsequent purchasers or vehicles. All warranties and guarantees by Elite Wheel Distributors, Inc. are only applicable in the United States and Canada. This warranty does not cover any tires used or equipped on a vehicle registered or operated outside the United States and Canada. The Limited Warranty does NOT cover the following:
  • Tire branded or marked “blem,” “Non-Adjustable (N/A),” or previously adjusted.
  • Failure, damage, or irregular wear due to:
    • Road hazards (i.e., punctures, cuts, snags, bruises, impact breaks, etc.), wreck or collision;
    • Fire, accident, or vandalism;
    • Mechanical condition of the vehicle, including misalignment, wheel imbalance, faulty shocks or brakes;
    • Misapplication of tire or use of improper inner tube;
    • Alteration of the tire or addition of foreign material.
    • Use of tire chains, tire spinning, racing, off-road use, or other competitive activities.
    • Non-factory vehicle staggered tire fitments.
    • Costs of mounting and balancing service.
    • Costs related to tire pressure monitoring systems.
    • Costs related to shipping and transportation of the tire.
    • Loss of time or use, inconvenience, or any incidental or consequential damages.
  • Improper use or operation including, but not limited to: improper tire and vehicle maintenance, running flat or run with severe underinflation, misuse, abuse, accident fire or chemical corrosion, underinflation, overinflation, overloading, over deflection, or failure to follow recommended rotation practices.
  • Improper installation, improper mounting or dismounting, misapplication, improper repairs, wheel misalignment, or imbalance in the tire/wheel assembly.
  • Tire size, load, and speed rating do not match the tire specifications outlined in your vehicle owner’s manual.
  • Tires with the Department of Transportation (DOT) number removed or rendered illegible; tires must bear the DOT prescribed tire identification numbers.
  • Ride complaints after the first 1/32nd of tread wear or due to damaged wheels or any vehicle condition.
Tires does not warrant any work performed by the dealer, including, but not limited to their selection, fitment, mounting and balancing, inspection, or repair of any tire.

INELIGIBLE TIRES

Tires are not eligible for warranty if:
  • The mileage and tire rotation records are not available or verifiable.
  • The subject tire or tires are not presented and available for inspection at an authorized dealer.
  • The subject tire or tires are worn beyond the tread wear bar indicators (less than 2/32nd of the remaining tread).
  • Uniformity issues after the first 1/32nd of tread wear

OWNER’S OBLIGATION

Proper vehicle and tire care are necessary to obtain the expected wear from a tire. Therefore, it is your obligation to properly maintain your tires and the vehicle upon which they are mounted, including:
  1. Operating your tires at the inflation pressures recommended by the tire and vehicle manufacturer.
  2. Keeping your tire and wheel assemblies in balance.
  3. Proper wheel alignment.
  4. Maintaining steering and suspension components to be within manufacturer specifications.
  5. Rotating your tires at least every 3,500 miles or less (UHP passenger car tires) or 5,000 miles or less (standard light truck tires).
We recommend that you have your tire dealer inspect your tires any time you notice irregular or uneven tread wear and rotate them, if necessary. Failure to follow any of the above-mentioned Owner Obligations may be considered a breach of the warranty agreement and result in the termination of the warranty agreement. Furthermore, Elite reserves the right to review each warranty claim and deny the warranty application based on failing to follow any of the above-mentioned Owner Obligations.
